Returning Dubai Residents must use GDFRs New Online Application System

As Dubai state to allow travel to and from the UAE, the general directorate of residency and international affairs GDRFA reminded residents overseas to only book flight ticket to Dubai once they safe approval from a fresh set up system

According to an declaration posted by Emirates through their website, the GDFRA online approval system can only be accessed outside the UAE.

Dubai Resident must use new GDFRA online application system to return home

The guideline mentioned that application can complete the entire procedure on their own through the General Directorate of residency and abroad affairs GDRFA website.

Once the application has been approved ,you will receive an instant response. Otherwise, you may try again later.

According to the Emirate website WWW.EMRIATES.COM ,occupant should book their tickets only when their GDRFA application have been approved.

In a statement, it said ”only book your ticket back to Dubai after you have received the approval. During the booking procedure ,you will be asked to enter Resident file number”.

In line with this, you will also need to instant a copy of the verification email from  the GDFRA during your travels.

All Dubai residents returning through Emirates should:

• Call the airline,s call center hot line to assist with your booking and application for approval to travel or your can complete your application without any hesitating through GDFRA website
• Fill the health declaration from as well as the quarantine undertaking from. Both forms are to be printed, complete, and given to the Dubai Health Authority DHA staff at Arrival. The closing off from will only take into effect if the traveler needs to go through quarantine.
