- Step 1: First, open the browser and go to the official website, Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) https://uidai.gov.in/
- Step 2: On the homepage, You can see below the UIDAI symbol tap My Aadhaar.
- Step 3: A drop-down menu will appear on the screen, under Aadhaar Services, click Verify Registered mobile or email id.
- Step 4: A new tab will open on your system. Here, enter your Aadhaar number and either your mobile number or email ID, whichever you wish to verify.
- Step 5: Next, enter the captcha code and click on Send OTP.
Now, in the mobile number entered by you matches the records of the UIDAI then it may flash the screen that, “The cellphone you have entered is verified with all our recordings .” However, in case the cell number you entered will not match using the UIDAI records then it will say that the cellphone number you’ve entered does not fit with their records.
Keep in mind that the practice of updating the cell number cannot be achieved online. To update the mobile number you have to go to your nearest Aadhaar Centre.
